Light when someone arrives.
The radar detects motion and direction within about 7 m. The luminaire responds and then returns to its base level on its own.

When nobody is around, the luminaire stays dimmed and saves energy.

When someone enters the zone, Sense increases the light level.

Once the zone is clear, the luminaire dims down automatically.

Frequently asked questions
Does the sensor record images?
No. EnvioLux™ Sense uses mmWave radar and no camera. It detects motion and direction as well as anonymous counts. No images, video or personal data are created at any time.
How large is the detection area?
The radar covers a radius of up to 7 m at a mounting height of up to 10 m. The node sits in the lower Zhaga socket so it has a clear view of the ground.
How does Sense differ from the Core Kit?
Sense does everything the Core node does and adds a radar sensor. The light brightens on motion, and anonymous count data becomes available for planning. For lighting control only, the Core Kit is enough.
Will the street become too dark?
No. The base level without motion is planned for each street according to its requirements. On motion, Sense raises the light and then automatically returns it to the base level.
