System luminaire for municipal modernisation

Future ready street lighting must not fail on the budget.

Not every existing luminaire can be retrofitted. If a suitable interface is missing or the luminaire has reached the end of its service life, we supply the EnvioLux™ system luminaire as a high quality LED luminaire within the overall project. Lighting design, luminaire, smart control, installation and operating platform all stay in one project and with one partner.

The right route for your installed base

Retrofit where it makes sense. Replace where it is needed.

The core of our offering remains the retrofit: nodes, smart control and platform. The system luminaire is only used where an existing luminaire cannot sensibly be retrofitted.

Retrofit the existing luminaire

If the existing luminaire is technically suitable and compatible, it stays on the pole. We simply add an EnvioLux™ node and make it controllable.

Deploy the system luminaire

If a suitable interface is missing or the luminaire has reached the end of its service life, we plan the EnvioLux™ system luminaire into the project.

One project, one point of contact

Lighting design, delivery, installation, commissioning and ongoing operation are coordinated by ENVIOTECH. You award one project instead of several trades.

The EnvioLux™ system luminaire is project integrated. It is not a standalone catalogue product and is planned and delivered only as part of a modernisation project.

Modernise economically

The basis for an installed base that keeps growing with you.

A municipal LED conversion has to stay affordable while leaving room for smart dimming, central control and later expansion. That is exactly what the EnvioLux™ system luminaire is designed for: a solid building block in a project context, not a design object.

Engineering proven in operation

Solidly specified. Built for continuous municipal duty.

Up to 160 lm/W

Efficient LED system with even illumination of the traffic area.

Protected on the grid

Integrated 10 kV surge protection for stable operation on overhead and underground networks.

Thermally monitored

Temperature monitoring at the LED module keeps light output consistent across the service life.

Robust outdoors

IP66 and IK09, aluminium housing with a safety glass cover.

Installed for practice

Ready to mount connection technology with a 1 m cable, designed for short installation times.

Prepared for control

Compatible with Zhaga Book 18 & D4i and therefore ready to join the ENVIOTECH system.

The specific configuration is matched to the street, pole, lighting point and the intended control strategy.

Power classes

Five power classes. Selected to fit the project.

  • 30 Wup to 4,800 lm

Footpaths and cycle paths, secondary areas, quiet residential zones

  • 50 Wup to 8,000 lm

Residential streets and smaller access roads

  • 80 Wup to 12,800 lm

Collector roads, neighbourhood streets and wider paths

  • 120 Wup to 19,200 lm

Main roads and higher performance traffic areas

  • 240 Wup to 38,400 lm

Large traffic areas and special project requirements

Luminous flux depends on colour temperature, optics and project configuration.

Everything from one partner

From the stock assessment to ongoing operation.

  1. Step 1

    Assess the installed base

We record luminaires, poles and interfaces and assign every lighting point to a retrofit or a system luminaire.

  2. Step 2

    Plan the lighting

Standards compliant lighting design defines power class, optics and colour temperature per street and lighting point.

  3. Step 3

    Deliver and install

Luminaires and nodes are delivered and installed through a vetted partner network.

  4. Step 4

    Commission and support

Commissioning in EnvioTerminal, setup of the control strategy and ongoing support in operation.

Frequently asked questions

Answered briefly.

  • When an existing luminaire has no suitable interface for a node or has reached the end of its service life. In every other case the retrofit remains the more economical route.
